Good For The Heart

I absolutely adore this quote I came across the other day:
"Sometimes, someone says something so small and it just fits right into this empty place in your heart."
This quote is so true, and I can apply it to my own life.  I am a VERY insecure person.  I frequently get down on myself.  I do not have alot of confidence.  One thing that I am insecure about is how I will be as a teacher in the future.  I constantly think, "Am I supposed to be a teacher?"  "Am I too shy to be a teacher?" "Will I be a good teacher?" etc., etc.  This past summer, I was at a pool party at a relative's house.  While we were hanging out by the pool, one of the little girls there looks at me and says, "You look like you could be a teacher.  I would want you every year."  Even though it was so small, it made me feel so good.  It helped fill up that place in my heart that always seems so empty.  It also reminded me to always give out compliments to people.  You never know whose heart might need some patching up.
